Forest ARR
Liangdu Afforestation Project is located in Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province of China. 23,720ha of the forest was planted on barren lands in Shuicheng county, Pan county, Liuzhi special district which used to be poor sustainable ecological environment and karst rocky desertification.
The implementation of the project is expected to reduce the GHG emissions amounting to 10,077,450 tCO2e over the next 29years, with an average GHG emission removal of 347,498tCO2e annually.
Qianbei Afforestation Project - VCS ID 2082
Both projects will be accredited under Voluntary Carbon (VCS) and Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards.
The projects also contributes to the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs)

Qianbei Afforestation Project is located in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province of China. 50,061 ha of the forest was planted on barren lands in Zunyi City which used to be poor sustainable ecological environment and karst rocky desertification.
The implementation of the project is expected to reduce the GHG emissions amounting to 21,225,014 tCO2e over the next 29 years, with an average GHG emission removal of 731,897 tCO2e annually.
The Improved Forest Management (IFM) is implemented for the forest from conversion of logged to protected forest. The area of the project activity is state-owned forest. After the conversion started, all the forestry is protected as non-commercial forestry.
Before the implementation of the project activity, the trees are logged based on a valid and verifiable government - approved timber management plan for harvesting the project area. The project activity will contribute to the environment (biodiversity conservation and soil erosion control), thus contribute to sustainable development.
In our portfolio, there are 3 IFM project and the volumes is more than 1 mllion tonnes from all vintage since 2009 until 2017.
